East Radnor Ramblers invite Knighton Festival to walk with them

Both Sunday walks start at 10am from Brookside Square opposite The Knighton Hotel. SO 2868 7226, What3Words victor.stun.savers

Both are short walks lasting 2.5 hours on opposite sides of the town.

Sunday 30th October – A walk on the southern side of the Teme Valley, passing farmland, high green lanes, returning on the Offa’s Dyke path.  Moderate 8.5km/5.3 miles.

Wednesday 2 November  – There and back again – Bucknell to Stowe, no Misty Mountains but gentle hills and glorious views      

Moderate – one fairly steep descent 6.6 miles, about 4 hours. Meet at 10am at the Baron pub car park, Chapel Lawn Rd, Bucknell. Short walk from station SO 3513 7407. W3W bookshop.propelled.went.

Sunday 6th November – A walk round the outside of Kinsley wood onto the Offa’s Dyke Path returning along the Teme Valley. 9km/5.6 miles

IMPORTANT

Walks are undertaken at own risk. No dogs are allowed except for registered assistance dogs. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear suitable clothing and either walking boots or sturdy trainers. Bring refreshments for morning break and lunch including plenty to drink.

The leader has the right to alter or cancel a walk if conditions unsuitable. In the event of exceptionally wet or bad weather, before leaving home please check with the leader that the scheduled walk will take place
